Frequently asked questions

What does an "economy" or "budget" safari actually mean?

It means we've focused on the safari experience itself rather than luxury extras. You'll still visit the same parks, enjoy the same game drives, and search for the same wildlife as other safari travellers. The difference lies mainly in the category of accommodation and the shared nature of the tour.

How does a shared safari group work?

You'll be travelling with fellow safari enthusiasts from different backgrounds and sometimes different countries. Shared safaris often become one of the highlights of the journey, as stories, sightings, and excitement tend to spread quickly when a lion suddenly appears beside the vehicle.

Will we see the same wildlife as the premium safaris?

Absolutely. The elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras do not check which package you've booked. Both categories visit the same parks and reserves. The difference is where you relax after the game drives, not what you see during them.

What kind of vehicles do we use for game drives?

We use purpose-built safari vehicles with pop-up roofs designed specifically for wildlife viewing. Every guest has excellent visibility, making it easier to enjoy sightings and take photographs throughout the day.

What are the accommodations like during the tour?

The accommodations are comfortable, clean, and selected for their location and hospitality. After a full day in the parks, most guests appreciate a good meal, a hot shower, and a comfortable bed before heading out again the next morning.

What is the food like during the safari?

Most properties serve buffet-style meals with a variety of local and international dishes. Vegetarian meals are easily available, and special dietary requirements can often be arranged with advance notice. Nobody should have to survive a safari on biscuits and bottled water.

What happens if an animal comes close to our vehicle?

Usually, that becomes the story everyone talks about at dinner. Safari animals are accustomed to vehicles and often continue their natural behaviour nearby. Your guide will always maintain safe and respectful distances while ensuring everyone enjoys the experience.

Do I need to be physically fit for this safari?

Not particularly. Most wildlife viewing takes place from the vehicle itself, and the itinerary is suitable for travellers of various ages. The biggest challenge is usually deciding whether to keep watching the sunset or go to dinner.

What happens if I need to leave the tour early or change my plans during the trip?

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. While accommodation, park permits, and many safari services are prepaid and generally non-refundable, our team will always try to assist with alternative arrangements wherever possible. As a customer-first company, we do our best to find practical solutions, though certain costs may remain unavoidable.

Who is this safari best suited for?

Travellers who care more about experiences than excess. If your priority is incredible wildlife, knowledgeable guides, beautiful landscapes, and a genuine Kenyan safari without unnecessary luxury costs, this tour is likely to suit you perfectly.
