Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi to Manali | Overnight Volvo (6,700 ft | 540 km | 14–15 hrs)
Begin your Himalayan journey by boarding a comfortable Volvo bus from Delhi (post 5 PM). Sit back and relax as you travel overnight, witnessing a gradual transition from bustling plains to serene mountain landscapes.
Day 02: Arrival in Manali | Acclimatization Day (6,700 ft)
Arrive in Manali and check into your pre-booked hotel or camp. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the altitude.
Local sightseeing includes:
- Hadimba Devi Temple – Set amidst lush cedar forests
- Manu Temple – Located along the tranquil Beas River
In the evening, attend a briefing session about the upcoming journey. Enjoy dinner and a relaxed overnight stay.
Day 03: Manali to Jispa (10,498 ft | 110 km | 3–4 hrs)
After breakfast, begin your drive towards Ladakh. Enjoy scenic views as you pass through Solang Valley and traverse the iconic Atal Tunnel.
Reach Jispa and check into Swiss camps. Spend the evening unwinding under a stunning Himalayan night sky. Dinner included.
Day 04: Jispa to Sarchu (14,100 ft | 90 km | 3–4 hrs)
Start early and continue your ascent into the high Himalayas.
Today’s highlights:
- Baralacha La Pass (16,043 ft)
- Suraj Taal & Deepak Taal
- Scenic drive along the Chandrabhaga River
- Rugged terrains of Darcha & Zingzing Bar
Arrive at Sarchu, check into camps, and enjoy dinner before resting.
Day 05: Sarchu to Leh (11,562 ft | 250 km | 6–7 hrs)
One of the most thrilling stretches of the journey.
En route:
- Nakee La & Lachulung La Passes
- Whiskey Nallah
- Pang & the vast More Plains
- Tanglang La Pass
Arrive in Leh, check into your hotel, and relax overnight.
Day 06: Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La) (10,000 ft | 160 km | 5–6 hrs)
Ride over Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads.
En route:
- Diskit Monastery
- Giant Maitreya Buddha Statue
At Nubra Valley (Hunder), you may opt for a camel ride in the sand dunes (at own cost). Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07: Nubra to Turtuk Excursion (Return to Nubra) (9,850 ft | 196 km | 8–9 hrs)
Explore Turtuk Village, located near the Line of Control.
Experience:
- Unique Balti culture
- Scenic views of the Shyok River
- Glimpses towards the K2 region
Return to Nubra for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08: Nubra to Pangong Lake (14,000 ft | 160 km | 7–8 hrs)
Travel via one of Ladakh’s most adventurous routes (Shyok River/Wari La Pass, depending on conditions).
Arrive at the mesmerizing Pangong Tso Lake, known for its ever-changing hues of blue. Enjoy the serene surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at lakeside camps.
Note: Route may vary depending on weather and road conditions.
Day 09: Pangong to Leh (via Chang La) (11,600 ft | 160 km | 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, ride back to Leh via Chang La Pass.

- Optional visits to Thiksey & Shey Monasteries
Arrive in Leh, check in, and enjoy dinner.
Day 10: Leh to Kargil (8,780 ft | 240 km | 6–7 hrs)
Drive through stunning landscapes towards Kargil.

- Drass War Memorial

Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 11: Kargil to Srinagar (5,200 ft | 220 km | 6–7 hrs)

Arrive in Srinagar and check into your hotel. Relax after a scenic drive.
Day 12: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. If time permits, explore Srinagar or enjoy a peaceful moment before your onward journey.
