Which bikes are best for a Ladakh trip?

Royal Enfield bikes are the most commonly used for Ladakh trips because of their power and stability on rough terrains. However, there is no single “best” bike. A well-maintained bike with sufficient power is the key to a smooth ride in Ladakh.

Is there a lack of oxygen in Ladakh?

Yes, Ladakh is located at a high altitude where oxygen levels can be significantly lower, especially at mountain passes where it may be around 50% of the oxygen level found in the plains. Visitors may experience shortness of breath initially. It is recommended to rest for a couple of days, stay hydrated, and allow your body to acclimatize. For safety, we also carry oxygen cylinders to assist in case of breathing discomfort.
