Our suggestion would be of choosing minimum 10 nights 11 days if you want to explore this region.

Who can Trek ?

It remains a point of discussion as to who can trek at -30 degrees through the Himalayas. Well over the years we have seen numerous first time trekkers completing the tour and regular bikers leaving on first day. Overall, this trek demands a high level of endurance towards cold temperatures, regular exposure to cold for almost 10 days, good stamina and a solid state of mind. Remember, where there is a will there's a way !!! If you think you have it in you then this  trek is for you. We even have had people taking safe dip in the freezing cold water of the Zanskar on the last day, as a goodbye gesture.

Things to remember

A sound mind and lot of reading about the Geography should make your trek easier. Information on how to remain warm in different environment  will be beneficial, talk to us if you want any answers after all we take pride in sharing our experiences. A must is the discussion with your doctor and get to know from him how your body will cope with such high altitude and walking. The government has made it mandatory to undergo health check up after you get acclimated in Leh before your trek. In addition to this, mandatory medical insurance is helpful in any eventuality.
