General Terms and Conditions
These general terms and conditions apply between Touring Tours and a party who enters into an agreement with Touring Tours by the booking confirmation (the guest/client). The agreement may apply to accommodation, travel, activities, purchasing other products or services or a combination of these.
Who is responsible:
Touring Tours company established in Mumbai is responsible for all transactions which take place through the website or via the bank. Other payment partners like PayU/Paytm/Bhim/GPay are responsible for credit card numbers/codes being securely processed following the requirements according to the prevailing Indian law and Touring Tours is not responsible for any discrepancies arising due to them.
Our sub-suppliers:
We are responsible for our sub-suppliers being paid for what you have ordered through us. Our sub-suppliers are each responsible for their parts of the program, including comprehensive insurance, permits, equipment, staffing etc., and for their compliance with prevailing laws and regulations that apply to the supplier.
The agreement etc:
As the seller, Touring Tours is responsible for the guest’s entitlements under the agreement. Responsibility for the assignments to be performed by others than Touring Tours rests with the suppliers or sub-suppliers themselves.
Groups etc:
Please contact Touring Tours if the online tour schedule does not fit with your (the guests) schedule and we will do our best to meet the given wishes. Touring Tours can customize group travels – please click here for more information.
Touring Tours is not liable for promises that a third party has made directly to the guest without Touring Tour’s knowledge, and which Touring Tours is unaware of or could not reasonably have been aware of. If such agreements are made between a third party and a purchaser, they should be in writing. All customer data shall be stored following Indian law and no personal data shall be sold to a third party.
Binding reservation:
A reservation is binding when a booking has been assigned to the guest and payment is made. It is the guest’s responsibility to verify that the arrival and departure dates and all other crucial booking data are correct.
Hotel reservation:
Hotel reservations made by Touring Tours for its guest/clients on tours is its responsibility, however, in case of any discrepancies between guest and the hotel, Touring Tours is limited to accommodate the guest/client with an alternative which is deemed to be logical and within the same budget. The hotel has its terms and conditions and the guests/clients are bound by these while staying in.
Booking/Payment: (unless and otherwise communicated in writing as a case basis)
The guest shall pay a booking amount equivalent to 15 % of the package cost or INR 5000 (higher amount to be considered) to secure/confirm the slot/booking/trip/tour and the remaining of the package/tour cost within 15 days of booking or other amount communicated by Touring Tours in writing. The guest shall have the booking reference available on arrival.
Payment fees:
For payments from abroad, the guest shall pay the transaction costs in their own country and India. Touring Tours shall receive the agreed price stated in the confirmation in INR or otherwise in foreign currency if communicated. The guest is liable for any fees incurred by the transaction.
Cancellation of reservations: (Unless and otherwise communicated in writing on a tour basis)
The guest has the right to cancel the booked package/tour with Touring Tours
Touring Tours only accepts written cancellations made by the guest.
Touring Tours sends the confirmation of the cancellation/amendment in writing.
Cancellation 15 days before gives a refund of the package/tour cost after deduction of the booking amount.
Cancellation 14-10 days before gives a 50% refund of the package/tour cost (Including booking amount)
Cancellation 5-0 days before gives no refund.
Cancellation of tour/trip/service done by Touring Tours will result in a full refund/date change option.
Own rules for cancellation of reservations apply for agents, travel operators, incoming operators and others on behalf of Touring Tours.
Refund policy:
Refunds will be processed within 8 working days.
Cancellation of Airline/Railway Ticket:
Touring Tours has no role or control in airline/railway ticket cancellations, they have their own rules and regulations. Such tickets booked through Touring Tours will attract a service fee of INR 500 per traveller over and above the airline/railway charges.
Joy rides/3rd party activities:
Touring Tours is not responsible for 3rd party activities booked directly or indirectly. Touring Tours is limited to see smooth booking and facilitate such activities. Damages/accidents arising out of the same do not hold Touring Tours accountable. Only such activities that Touring Tours claims to be of itself, will it be responsible for.
Regarding insurance:
We recommend all our customers ensure they have good insurance coverage before travelling, in the event of illness, loss or damage to luggage, accidents, liability and similar.
The guest’s obligations:
The guest is obliged to follow the rules, instructions and regulations applying to the tour, accommodation, etc. The guest is fully liable for any damage caused to the surroundings.
Touring Tours or the supplier of the product are entitled to terminate the agreement with immediate effect if the guest or anyone in the guest’s company behaves distracting and/or causes damage to fellow travellers, accommodation or the surrounding area.
Guests are advised that Touring Tour’s suppliers may have their own rules and obligations, and the customer is responsible for being familiar with these.
What if something goes wrong?
Any faults must be notified immediately to the current supplier to allow the matter to be solved there and then. Touring Tours in its capacity will do all it can to resolve them.
Force Majeure/Disclaimer:
Touring Tours shall not be liable for unsatisfactory weather conditions or other factors outside the company’s control. Touring Tours is fully entitled to cancel the booking and issue credit if any of these faults should occur. Any expenses arising out of detouring or change in itinerary will be charged extra and actual and payable by the clients/guests.
Filming/Promotion:
Touring Tours may film/click pictures of the guests/clients while on tour for its promotion without any lien/obligation to anyone and use it for marketing purposes.
Mailers/Subscriptions/Emails/Updates/Promotions:
Touring Tours may contact the guests/clients through email/messages/calls after the conclusion of the tour for upcoming/future/ tours promotions/wishing on anniversaries etc without any lien/obligation to anyone. However, we do not sell such personal data nor spam you.
The above are general terms and conditions by which Touring Tours abides. Unless/until any specific terms and conditions are communicated, the above shall be considered final.
